We are a comprehensive, community oriented service provider offering innovative day programming as well as community inclusion support for young adults with developmental, physical and behavioural challenges.

Our Mission

Wellspring’s mission and philosophy is to treat every client and their family with respect, individual consideration, and integrity to provide them with the best service possible.

Our Staff

Wellspring Support values our staff. We understand that our programming is only as good as the people who deliver it.

We take pride in the fact that our staff share our values as well as our goals of providing high quality, engaging programming; emphasizing health and safety for all clients and staff; fostering an atmosphere that promotes open communication; and nurturing mutually respectful relationships between everyone at the Wellspring Support Day Program.

Our staff come to us with a variety of training and experience. Many have formal training from an RCA, CSW or HCA program. Many have years of practical experience working with people with disabilities.

Our Facilities

Wellspring Support’s Day Program operates out of three buildings offering over 3000 square feet of space on the grounds of the former Burnside Elementary School. Our facilities are centrally located to best serve clients throughout the Capital Regional District and has easy access to major transit routes. Additionally, road improvements and designated handicap loading zones on Cecelia Road allow easy access for clients using handyDART.

Day Program (Community Inclusion)

Our program is open to clients weekdays from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, excluding holidays.

Our flexible programming is customized to each individual’s strengths and capabilities.

Sharing common interests enhances social opportunities for our clients. Our focus is on participation, learning and enjoyment.

Supported Independent Living

Our Community Inclusion activities focus on supporting our clients in developing their independent living skills and improving their day-to-day decision making strategies.
